This Lord’s Day morning we return to our journey through the Epistle to the Romans. The Apostle Paul’s introduction to his letter to the Romans is the most lengthy of them all. Its purpose is to establish spiritual credibility with a group of Christians he has yet to meet as well as expressing his affection in Christ for them.

This Lord’s Day, we continue in the introduction to the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Roman. Who is Paul? What is his message? His life? We see a Gospel-centered man establishing his credibility to Christians in Rome he has not yet met while providing for us a model of the Christian life – a set apart life for the Gospel of God.

This Lord’s Day, we open up the letter to the Romans in verse one meeting its author, the Apostle Paul. Who was he? How did he see himself? Why are these questions important to the Christians in Rome? We hope to meet the Apostle by answering these question and learn what a Christian is to be living for the Lord Jesus.

This Lord’s Day, we begin a journey through the New Testament letter to the Romans. Romans has been labeled “The Himalayas of the Bible” and is the key book for establishing firm foundations in the Christian life. Throughout church history, Romans has been instrumental in the conversions of giants of the faith such as Augustine of Hippo, Martin Luther, John Wesley, and many others. In addition great revival movements have come from the preaching of Romans. Lord willing, this will be a life-changing study.
