This Lord’s Day, we begin a journey through the oldest book in the Bible; the Old Testament book of Job. We will be confronted with the issues of suffering – responses to suffering, Satan and suffering, and ultimately learn a lot about ourselves and our sovereign God in suffering

This Lord’s Day, we will be privileged to have the chairman of our Elder Board, Gene Andersen, preach a farewell address to the QBC family. Gene is relocating to California and this will be his last Lord’s Day morning with us. We have been blessed and honored by his example and sacrificial leadership for over sixteen years, and though we feel sadness, we rejoice in God’s goodness of having the Andersen family with us these many years.
We conclude our journey through this wonderful New Testament letter showing us what a church is to be like in living out first love for the Lord Jesus. The Apostle Paul brings his letter to a close with a beautiful prayer pointing believers to the glorious work of God in the lives of His people from eternity past to glorification in heaven.
