This Lord’s Day evening we return to our series in the New Testament book of Ephesians. Pastor Jonathan will bring a message with the main idea being Christians are to stop living like the world and live for Christ by putting on the new self.
This Lord’s Day, we return to our series in the Old Testament book of Job and our second look at the advice given to Job from his Eliphaz. In his counsel, there is much truth about who God is and what God does. Though lacking love, Eliphaz speaks truth that will encourage us in our walks with the Lord.
his Lord’s Day evening will be a continuance of our celebration of the Lord’s Birth. We will observe the shepherds who were the first to receive the good news that a Savior is born. From their responses, we learn key principles on how to follow the Lord Jesus and be effective, growing disciples.
This Lord’s Day, we depart from our series in Job for one Sunday to celebrate the Reason for the Season; the birth of our Savior, the Lord Jesus. We will do looking at what is known as “Mary’s Song of Praise: The Magnificat” and see from her the qualities and substance found in the model worshipper.
This Lord’s Day, we enter into the first dialogue between Job and his friends with Eliphaz leading the way. We will learn from him the good traits needed to effectively counsel the hurting, the not so good traits in counseling, and truths about our God helping us to grow in our relationship with Him.
This Lord’s Day evening, Pastor Jim will bring a message from the Gospel of Matthew and dealing with the subject of believers being afraid or displaying unhealthy fear. We live in a world tempting us to both and from this account of the disciples going to see, we hope to learn from the Lord about unhealthy fear and how to overcome it.
