This Lord’s Day, we listen to Job’s respond to the Lord’s first address of correction to him. The lessons Job learned about himself and the Lord are for us as well proving to be of great benefit in our walks with the Lord.
It is a very good thing to do on a regular basis. It is something we need to do on a regular basis. It will keep us from being self-deceived and waste a lot of time, money, and energy.
So, what do we believe is the only hope for our nation, a nation that has been “shaking its fists” at God for a very long time, a nation that breaks His laws and celebrates such rebellion, a nation that devalues life, a nation that promotes ungodly leadership, and a nation that practices sexual perversion with no shame?
Alright, start listing them. Yes, the theme of today’s nugget. Let’s start listing all the reasons for praising the Lord. We have many reasons to praise the Lord and all through eternity to do so!
