Pleasing God, Making Disciples of Jesus Christ

Romans

The Judgment of God

This Lord’s Day morning, we continue our journey through the New Testament book of Romans. The Apostle Paul is now focusing on the standard of God’s judgment upon every human being. He does so by making the distinction in God’s judgment between believers and unbelievers based on God’s standard of judging – their works or conduct in life.

The Judgment of Hypocrites

This Lord’s Day morning, we continue our journey through the New Testament book of Romans. The Apostle Paul has brought the entire gentile world under the wrath of God in chapter one, and now moves to show the Jew, they too are under God’s deserved wrath, and he begins by showing them their hypocrisy in judging others.

The Wrath of God – Part 1

This Lord’s Day morning, the Apostle Paul is transitioning from his greeting to the Romans and the theme of the letter, to a topic greatly needed in the contemporary church, its evangelism, and discipleship – the wrath of God. We hope to define it, illustrate it from scripture, and then show the people God’s wrath are directed towards.
