This Lord’s Day evening, we continue in 1 John looking at one of the most important pieces of evidence that we are Christians – walking as Jesus walked. By evaluating our lives after the manner in which Jesus walked, then actively following His example by our obedience, we gain assurance of salvation – a key theme in this letter from the Apostle John.
This Lord’s Day morning, we continue our study of the Apostle Paul’s second prayer for the believers in Ephesus. Lord willing, we enter into the substance of the second petition – being strengthened by God’s Spirit in our inner being so that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith. In an age of much spiritual activity and excitement, we need to ensure the Jesus we claim to know and worship is the Jesus of the Bible and not our imagination.
