Pleasing God, Making Disciples of Jesus Christ

Thought of the day—

Our gathering on the Lord's Day is to be a weekly family reunion with brothers and sisters who love one another, invest in one another, commit to one another, suffer with one another, rejoice with one another, weep with one another, and band together for the Gospel. Without these types of relationships, it is easy for people to leave a church. With these types of relationships, it is hard for people to leave a church, and the biblical reasons for leaving are few (Acts 4:23-24).

Dual Citizenship: When Kingdoms Collide

This Lord’s Day morning, Pastor Jonathan continues the series in the Gospel of Mark. We will look at the truth Jesus makes of the dual citizenship His people hold – the other world and this world; the kingdom of God and still in this world.

Loves Final Call

This Lord’s Day evening, Pastor Jonathan continues the sermon series in the Gospel of Mark landing in Mark 12:1-12. In this text and in light of Israel repeatedly rejecting God’s loving call, He has sent Jesus as loves final call. We will see both the consequences of rejecting God’s final call in Jesus and receiving it with the application being a life of love lived and proclaimed.
