Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.  1 John 4:8

So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.  1 John 4:16

1. All the works of the Spirit in believers are in love

a. All circumstances come in love: Genesis 45:4-5, 8, Genesis 50:19-21, Matthew 10:29

b. All trials come in love: Job 42:1-6

2. All the Works of the Spirit in believers have loving ends

a. To make us teachable by Christ: Matthew 11:28-30

b. To make us conformable to Christ: Galatians 5:22-23
