The church at Thessalonica is a model of what Gospel-produced relationships are to be with other believers and the Lord. This Lord’s Day we continue with a high mark of spiritual maturity in one’s relationship with the Lord – rejoicing always.
DEFINITION OF JOY: “Joy is the gift of God brought about by the Gospel of the Lord Jesus bringing lasting contentment in all situations, enduring strength in all circumstances and sustained satisfaction in the heart and mind of the redeemed child of God.”
1 Thessalonians 5:15-18 – See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
