Communion with the Triune God

TAKE UP AND READ. The QBC book of the month for June is Communion with the Triune God by John Owen edited by Kelly M. Kapic and Justin Taylor, published by Crossway, 416 pages.   I cannot recommend this book highly enough.  This will make for life-changing reading and if you only have one book to read this summer beside the bible, make it this one.  The title defines what is the purpose of salvation and the 17th century Puritan theology, John Owen, has provided the church and Christians with a scripturally rich and theologically sound book on enjoying God by communing with God – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  What makes this classic even more valuable is the excellent editing work by Kapic and Taylor bringing Owen alive to those who might be fearful of the 17th century language.  If we want a book to help us enjoy fellowshipping with God and changing our lives as a result, Communion with the Triune God has no rival.  A MUST READ.
