Cuban church leaders recently gathered with other Christian leaders outside the country for a time of fellowship and encouragement. “We feel less alone knowing that you are praying for us,” said one of the pastors. “When we return to Cuba, we will be by ourselves, but we know that you are standing with us.” Denominational leaders and pastors say they are facing more frequent interrogations by local Communist Party officials and that other local officials are brazenly ordering the closure of long-established churches. Continue to pray that Cuban believers will stand strong and remember that we are standing with them.
