Pleasing God, Making Disciples of Jesus Christ

In the Wilderness – David

The VBS theme for 2017 is “In the Wilderness – David: A Man After God’s Heart”. We will be presenting the story of David from Saul’s anointing as king, through the encounter with Goliath, David’s flight from Saul, and finally David’s ascension to king. David’s story teaches how to overcome adversity through the example of his reliance on God and strong faith. Each day a portion of the story will be presented along with a primary teaching and key memory verse.
